Most listeners know Alex Kassian for his supremely summery dance tracks.

Today, you’re about to know the Kyoto-born, Berlin-based artist for something a little different. This is ‘Trippy Gas”, an electric guitar and drum medley that feels like sitting in a slowly spinning centrifuge.

Whistling winds, monster-like laughter, and spaceship sound effects complement the musical bed to a tee. The song is reminiscent of 1970s kraut and psych-rock, tinged with modern programming. “Trippy Gas” also harks back to inclusions on Tame Impala’s debut album, Inner Speaker.
